Real Hot Chocolate

This recipe is so welcoming on cold winter nights or when coming in from the rain , that it truly is a must have recipe in all households. For something a little special and for adults only, add a jigger (shot) of Bailey's Irish Crème to each cup before serving. Serves 2

2 1/2 ounces of bittersweet chocolate, chopped into little pieces
1 cup boiling water
2-3 tablespoons honey or sugar (amount is of personal preference, the more the sweeter)
dash of salt, (optional)
3 cups hot milk (heated in a saucepan on the stove, or in the microwave)
2 dollops of whipped crème' (optional)
2 cinnamon sticks, (optional)

1. Mix chocolate into the boiling water and stir until completely melted.
2. Add the honey or sugar and mix thoroughly until dissolved.
3. Add the hot milk and with a whisk mix thoroughly.
4. Pour into serving cups, add cinnamon sticks if you like and top off with dollops of whipped crème'

Variation: FOR ADULTS ONLY
Add a jigger (a shot) of Bailey's Irish Crème, Grand Marnier or mint flavored liquor to the mixture for a special treat.
