"There is one extraordinary ingredient that goes into everything I cook and bake. Please, do not forget this ingredient for it is important to all recipes. When I am cooking or baking, I add extra spoonfuls of love to all my recipes. Love added to all things good makes them just a little bit better."

These are so good, perfect for Holiday sharing and you can alter the taste just by adding a variety of different Hershey kisses on top; for example I like these with Caramel Kisses, but some prefer Peanut Butter Kisses.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit

1/2 cup Crisco
4 squares unsweetened chocolate, melted
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 cups plus 2 tablespoons flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup powdered sugar
30-36 un-wrapped various Chocolate Kisses, (optional)

1. Grease 2 large cookie sheets.
2. Cream the first 3 ingredients together, add eggs one at a time and then add the vanilla.
3. Add the other ingredients to the chocolate mixture and mix thoroughly.
4. Pinch about 2 teaspoons of dough and roll it into balls with the palms of your hand and then roll each ball in powdered sugar and place onto the prepared cookie sheets.
5. Bake for 10-12 minutes and immediately upon removing from the oven, top each cookie with a Chocolate Kiss.

Hint:
*Mix a little smidgen of cinnamon or cocoa into a portion of the powdered sugar for a variety of flavors.
